It is almost new year! This is the perfect time to reflect upon all the experiences you experienced in 2014.
Personally, 2014 has been the year where I have hit rock bottom, but also the year that I got myself back on my feet (AlhamdulilAh). I must admit I have been through some painful experiences but I also experienced beautiful things.
The highlights of my year include:
- Spending my last year in University in Cambridge, UK. I am so grateful to have experienced living there, Cambridge has a special place in my heart and I truly love it.
- My mother coming out safe from the surgery room <3 Alhamdellah (her diagnosis stage was one of the hardest).
- I visited India and got to see Taj Mahal, and met some of the nicest people ever.
- Went to Abu Dhabi for the first time and loved it ( Hola to my Emarati ladies).
- Graduating from University with First Class Honors.
- I traveled to Scotland ( Glasgow and Edinburgh), I LOVED the food in Glasgow and Edinburgh is beautiful I recommend visiting it if you ever went to London by train or airplane.
- Lastly, definitely joining O talent with Obai & hill. Looking forward to my journey with them.
That is all I can remember right now.
Some stuff I learned in 2014:
- LOVE youself! it is the key to everything. If you do not love, accept, and believe in yourself you can't love anyone else the true love that they deserve. Be confident in everything you do.
- DON'T expect anything from anyone. Be the one that does it all to yourself, don't expect someone else to do something for you. Seek after what you want and Do not give up.
- NOBODY will understand you like you. If you believe in something do not wait for anyone else's approval.
- If you were feeling down and felt like you need help, please ask for it! there is nothing wrong about it. Sometimes we try to get out of feeling down but it is not always easy to overcome it alone, so talk to those you love and don't go through it alone.
